About Me
- Lisa Silva Photography
- My name is Lisa Silva and I just graduated UNF with my BFA in Photography.... I'm ready to take on the wedding and fashion industry full force!!! I've been involved in photography for over 11 years now. I love shooting couples, families, models, weddings, and events! My absolute favorite genre of photography is fashion and I try to incorporate it into all of my work. I love every aspect of it, from choosing the wardrobe and setting, to doing the model's makeup. I love art in all forms and I try to bring a taste of fashion and fine art into every portrait I take. But enough about me... I wanna hear about you!!! I would love to work with you to bring your vision to life... whether it be capturing all the love and emotion on your wedding day, taking pictures of your children or family, documenting your pregnancy, doing some sexy shots for your significant other.... or just unleashing your inner diva and doing a fashion shoot! The lab I work with offers amazing products... everything from wedding albums, to comp cards, to wall art, or regular prints with great quality! I look forward to meeting you and helping your vision come to life!

Modern day Adam and Eve
I used my good friends Jordan and Joshua (who happen to be married in real life!) for this shoot. I wanted to do a sexier more modern version of the way Adam and Eve have been portrayed before. Of course this was a fashion shoot, so the wardrobe was edgy and sexy for Jordan, and simple and covered in wet clay for Josh! I wanted to portray her as an evil temptress, and him a lost caveman... knowing he wants that apple but also knowing he shouldn't eat it.... This was shot in a studio, using green gels on the background lights, foliage that we picked from outside, and a fog machine with a mind of its own! Enjoy!

The Body Paint Series
I recently became very interested in body paint, not only the beauty of it and how the studio lights reflect off it it, but also the symbolism behind it. To me, it is kind of like wearing a mask, showing off your body, but hiding it at the same time... For this project, I used three different models... all with different ethnicities, body types, and personal styles. But the one thing that unified these women together was the paint... I played with the saturation and used some textures in the post edit to give them a more dramatic feel....

Morgan and Tyler's sexy couple shoot!
I shot the beautiful Morgan and her handsome boyfriend Tyler in the studio and got some really amazing and sexy shots of the two of them... The first set was kind of a "dark angel" theme, and the second set was simple, yet sexy... and of course I tried to recreate the iconic Janet Jackson "man bra" shoot that she did on the cover of Rolling Stone.... All in all it was a great shoot and we got some beautiful images!

Holga shoot in the studio with Fawn and Kourtney
I am happy to say that my second Holga attempt worked out better then my first! Using Fawn and Kourtney as models, I was able to create magical and etherial looking black and white images... all on film! Thats right... there was no photoshopping involved... (besides a little clean up from the dust that was on my negatives) So check them out... I think I have a new found love of film (if the Holga's involved!!)
