This summer I took a class on alternative processes that can be used in photography. I very much enjoyed it and loved some of the images I was able to produce. It was fun and unique because we could shoot in digital and use photoshop, but the processing of the photos was all manual. We sensitized watercolor paper with silver nitrate and then exposed it in a lightbox (and sometimes the sun) and then developed it in a few different processes. I loved the result it gave the images... really made them into art pieces. Here are a few of my favorites:
