About Me

My photo
My name is Lisa Silva and I just graduated UNF with my BFA in Photography.... I'm ready to take on the wedding and fashion industry full force!!! I've been involved in photography for over 11 years now. I love shooting couples, families, models, weddings, and events! My absolute favorite genre of photography is fashion and I try to incorporate it into all of my work. I love every aspect of it, from choosing the wardrobe and setting, to doing the model's makeup. I love art in all forms and I try to bring a taste of fashion and fine art into every portrait I take. But enough about me... I wanna hear about you!!! I would love to work with you to bring your vision to life... whether it be capturing all the love and emotion on your wedding day, taking pictures of your children or family, documenting your pregnancy, doing some sexy shots for your significant other.... or just unleashing your inner diva and doing a fashion shoot! The lab I work with offers amazing products... everything from wedding albums, to comp cards, to wall art, or regular prints with great quality! I look forward to meeting you and helping your vision come to life!

Alan and Tayyaba's 2 day wedding!

I recently got the privilege to be the assistant photographer in the wedding of Alan and Tayyaba, with my friend Liz Golden. Liz is an amazing photographer, and pretty much my inspiration! I hired her to shoot my wedding back in March and we quickly became friends. And now she's making me her official second photographer for her new business! Its always such a great experience working with her, and I learn so much. I will still be doing various shoots on my own, but now I also get to work with one of the best wedding photographers in the business! So thank you Liz for all you've done for me!

Anyways, Tayyaba and Alan's wedding was a beautiful two day event that showed how two cultures can really come together in the name of love. The first day was an Islamic wedding to honor Tayyaba and her family and the second day was more of a "traditional American" ceremony for Alan's family. They were both beautiful events and really showed how the love between two people can bring two totally different cultures together. They have an amazing love story that is truly inspirational. Here are a few of the images I captured over that weekend:
